We are a thriving and active dive club, benefiting from the great diving around the Dorset area. Additionally we run trips further afield (home and abroad) and always welcome new members to the club regardless of training organisation.
The Bournemouth Barracudas Dive Club is a recognised branch of the British Sub Aqua Club which is our governing body for the sport.
The Bournemouth University Sub Aqua Club is a social group of divers from the local university who use the Barracudas for regulating their training and supervising their dives. BUSAC members are regulated by the rules and regulations of the Bournemouth University Students Union and also BSAC when they join the Barracuda branch.
In essence we are one and the same group of people but governed by two separate bodies depending if you are in full time education or not. The group is roughly a 50/50 split between the two types of members.
